Callum Gordon raised to 1,200 in early position before the cutoff three-bet to 3,200. Action folded back to Gordon who called to see the 9♠Q♦8♠ flop.

The cutoff then bet another 2,000 and Gordon called. Both players checked the 5♣ turn.

Gordon led out for 5,500 on the 10♥ river and the cutoff called, only for Gordon to show 7♦6♦ for the nut straight to win the pot.

Barnes Loses an All In, Wins Another

Stephen Barnes and Constantin Erhan were heads-up on a flop of 7♥8♦10♣ when Erhan got his last 16,000 in the middle from the hijack. Barnes had him at risk from early position.

Barnes was ahead with top pair, but Erhan spiked the A♠ on the turn to make two pair. The river came the 8♣ and Erhan improved to a full house to double up.

Barnes got those chips back a few hands later. A player in early position bet 2,500 on a flop of 3♥J♦3♣ and Khaqaan Raja called in the small blind, as did Barnes in the big blind.

The turn came the K♥ and the early-position player bet another 5,900. Raja then moved all in for 15,100 and Barnes called, while their other opponent folded.

Raja had K♣J♥ for two pair, but Barnes showed 4♠3♦ for trip threes. The river was the 10♠ and Barnes sent Raja to the rail.

Gary Miller raised to 1,400 in the cutoff and an opponent in the big blind defended to go heads-up to the 8♥A♦J♣ flop.

Miller then continued for 1,000 and the big blind called. Both players checked the 3♠ turn.

The river was the 2♣ and the big blind checked to Miller again, and Miller tapped the felt and turned over 10♦10♥. His opponent mucked and Miller took the pot.

That pot might have been relatively small, but Miller's stack isn't on his second bullet of the day as he's currently sitting on around 110,000.

Gardner had flopped two pair and was a big favorite to double up as the turn came the 5♥. The river, though, was the 10♠ and Khatri made trips.

Gardner stood up from his seat and shook hands with Khatri before making his exit. "The fish got there," Khatri said as he raked in the pot.

Maunders Has a Hand to Beat Iqbal

Heads-up on a flop of 10♠8♠2♥, Dan Maunders bet 4,200 from the cutoff and Majid Iqbal called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 7♣ turn and Iqbal also checked the 8♣ river. Maunders then shoved his entire stack of 17,100 into the middle.

"What hands are beating me," Iqbal wondered as he tanked for around a minute before calling. Maunders then showed A♣8♦ for trip eights and Iqbal mucked, surrendering most of his stack while Maunders doubled up.

Three-handed on a board of 8♠Q♥7♥K♣, Jack Sambrook bet 2,400 from the hijack and was called by Alistair Kilgour in the cutoff, as well as Stephen Cherry in the big blind.

The river came the 8♥ and action checked to Kilgour, who bet 6,000. Only Cherry called and Sambrook got out of the way.

Kilgour then turned over A♥6♥ for the nut flush. "What a river," Cherry said as he mucked.

Alshanti Dodges the River For Massive Double

A pot of more than 25,000 was already brewing as Abdullah Alshanti and an opponent in the hijack went heads-up to the turn on a board of Q♠6♠J♣8♥.

The cutoff then bet 22,000 and Alshanti tanked for a minute before moving all in for 52,000. His opponent then tanked for several minutes until he called to put Alshanti at risk.

Alshanti had A♥Q♥, while his opponent had a straight draw holding K♣10♠. Alshanti got up from his seat to await the river, which came the 6♦ as he slapped his hands together to celebrate his double up.

"What a player," another tablemate said as Alshanti earned a double up to move up to around 140,000.
