Howard Shows a King in Four-Way Pot

Richard Howard, Gary Miller, Tuan Nguyen, and another opponent in middle position went four-handed to the 5♣5♠K♦ flop, where Howard led out for 1,500 in the small blind.

The middle-position player called, while Miller and Nguyen both got out of the way. The turn came the 7♣ and Howard fired out another 2,500.

His opponent again called and Howard slowed down and checked the 2♠ river. His opponent checked back and Howard showed K♥Q♦ to win the pot with two pair.

John Gardner bet 3,000 from early position on a board of 6♦J♣Q♥Q♣ and an opponent in middle position called.

"That's the problem with having customers," Gardner said as he tossed in another 2,000 on the 2♦ river. His opponent again quickly called.

"Ace-jack," Gardner's opponent said, but Gardner showed K♥K♠.

"Are you happy now," another tablemate said to Gardner as he raked in the pot.

Eliot Catterson raised to 1,000 under the gun and was called by an opponent in middle position and Nathan Jones in the cutoff. The small blind then moved all in for around 12,000, Catterson reshoved for around 26,000, and the rest of the table folded.

"You're ahead, don't worry," Catterson's opponent said as they went to table their cards.

"Oh, you're not ahead. I was expecting a bigger hand," the all-in player said as the flop came A♥J♠J♣, giving Catterson the lead with two pair.

The board ran out K♥10♠ and Catterson made a straight to send his opponent to the rail.

Jeffrey Bolding and Tuan Nguyen were heads-up on a board of A♠2♠6♥K♠ where Nguyen bet 1,500 from the cutoff. Bolding, in the small blind, then moved all in for 8,500.

Nguyen snap-called and showed 2♦2♣ for a set of deuces. Bolding could only show A♥9♦ and was already drawing dead to the K♦ river, where Nguyen improved to a full house to send Bolding to the rail.

There was nearly 7,000 already in the middle as Gary Miller and Tuan Nguyen went to the turn on a board of 5♥7♣10♦J♦.

Miller was in the cutoff and bet 3,800. Nguyen called in the small blind as the river came the 3♣. Nguyen checked over to Miller again, and Miller this time bet 7,500.

Nguyen tanked for more than a minute before he mucked and Miller tossed 8♣4♣ into the middle of the table as he took the pot.

The button raised to 600 before Man Li three-bet to 2,000 in the small blind. Stephen Cherry then four-bet to 6,200 and only Li called.

Both players checked to the river on a board of 3♦3♣9♦2♠5♣ and Li then checked again.

"Six," Cherry announced, tossing in two yellow 5,000 chips. The dealer said his bet was only 600, while Cherry argued he meant to bet 6,000.

The floor was called over, but Li ended up folding and Cherry took the pot.

Only Bolding called to see the Q♥9♣Q♠ flop, where both players checked. The turn came the K♣ and Khuu led out for 1,600.

Bolding quickly called and the river came the 7♣. Khuu slowed down and checked, and Bolding checked back.

Khuu opened up K♠J♦ for two pair and Bolding flashed two tens as he mucked.
