Welch Hits Two Pair on Mooney

Mark Welch bet 3,500 from the small blind on a flop of J♦6♣K♦ and John Mooney called in the hijack.

The turn came the 8♥ and Welch bet enough to put Mooney all in. Mooney quickly called for his last 6,000.

Welch showed K♥J♥ for two pair and Mooney turned over K♣Q♣. "Give me a queen," Mooney pleaded, but the river came the 2♣ and Welch scooped the pot to send Mooney to the rail.

Rojas Puts Walsh on the Nuts, Calls Anyway

Around 15,000 was in the pot as Pablo Rojas and Shuan Walsh went to the turn on a board of 10♠9♣3♣8♠.

Rojas bet 6,000 in middle position and Walsh then moved all in for 28,000. Rojas spent a few minutes in the tank before calling.

Walsh showed Q♠J♦ for the nut straight, while Rojas was on a flush draw holding A♠9♠. The 5♦ river failed to complete Rojas' flush and he handed over the double up.

"It was crystal clear you had that. But it was 28,000 into a pot of 70,000," Rojas explained.

Florian Duta is also at this table, while Leo Worthington-Leese is sitting one table away.

Farrell Fires the Turn, Then Shows

Niall Farrell bet 2,500 from early position on a flop of K♥J♠A♦ and was called by Mantas Buivydas in middle position and an opponent in the hijack, while Ludovic Geilich folded his big blind.

The turn came the 2♦ and Farrel fired another 8,000. Buivydas tanked for a minute before mucking. The hijack also spent a few moments in the tank but also slid his cards back to the dealer.

"King-jack," Geilich asked Farrell, who showed the 9♣ as he took the pot.
