Aguilera Has the Better Queen

Level 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Jose Aguilera
Jose Aguilera

Jose Aguilera and Samuel Acheampong were heads-up on a flop of QJ5 where Acheampon bet 3,300 under the gun. Aguilera then moved all in for 13,000 in the big blind and Acheampon called.

Jose Aguilera: KQ
Samuel Acheampong: Q10

Aguilera had Acheampong out-kicked with his king as they saw the A fall on the turn. The river came the 9 and Acheampong slammed his remaining chips on the table in frustration while Aguilera doubled up.

Obadun Stays Silent

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Francis Obadun
Francis Obadun

Francis Obadun bet 3,100 from the hijack on a board of 5K42 and Nim Rattan called on the button.

The river came the 3 and Obadun then moved all in for 32,300. Rattan began tanking as the talkative Obadun, who can usually be heard from across the room, fell silent.

Rattan used up several minutes before she called. "I didn't mean to be rude. I just really wanted to get paid," Obadun said as he turned over 66 for a straight. Rattan mucked her hand and Obadun, who finished runner-up in the 888poker LIVE London Main Event earlier this year, doubled up.

"Do you want some change," Obadun joked with tablemate Leo McClean, back to his normally loquacious ways.

"Now we got him going," McClean replied.

Jones Makes a Huge Call in Three-Way All In

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ravi Sheth limped in from early position, as did another player in middle position, before Jorge Palomino moved all in for 12,500 in the cutoff. Ryan Otto called on the button as action went on big blind Nathan Jones.

Jones called Palomino's shove, but Sheth then reshoved. Otto got out of the way as Jones was put to a massive decision.

"He's licking his chops. He's gone from having four bigs to potentially 40," Sheth joked about Palomino as Jones continued to tank for several minutes.

"I'll show," Sheth told him to a round of laughs from around the table. Jones eventually stuck in his chips to call.

Jorge Palomino: 22
Ravi Sheth: KQ
Nathan Jones: JJ

Jones and Sheth were flipping for the massive side pot as the board ran out 675105, securing the pot for Jones. Palomino was eliminated, while the stacks were counted down and Jones had 93,000 remaining, barely covering Sheth's 85,000.

"I'm never folding to you again," Otto told Sheth as the stacks were being counted.

"It was a pretty big spot for me to represent it. Good call. I do the same thing with queens," Sheth said before making his exit.

Chopra checked the 6 river, then snap-called when Man tossed out 6,000. Man then showed 88 for a full house and Chopra mucked.

At the same table, Ludovic Geilich has increased his stack to around 45,000, while Niall Farrell is sitting on around 50,000.

Boyle Holds On in Four-Way All In

Level 9 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A four-way all in was brewing as Nicholas Davies was all in for 15,000 in early position, Mirang Patel had his last 17,000 in from middle position, Garrett Boyle was all in on the cutoff for 12,000, and Chase Wilson was in the big blind having all three players covered.

Nicholas Davies: AJ
Mirang Patel: 109
Garrett Boyle: KK
Chase Wilson: 77

"Lucky sevens. I know they're out there," Wilson said as Boyle stood up and began filming the action. The flop came 548, giving Davies a flush draw and Wilson a straight draw.

"Six or a seven," Wilson pleaded, but the board ran out Q4 and Boyle's kings stayed in front. He doubled up off Wilson, while Davies and Patel were both sent to the rail in the side pot.

Wendy Watson
Wendy Watson

John Bousfield raised to 2,500 under the gun and Lewis Morton-Monaghan called in middle position. Action then folded to Wendy Watson who three-bet to 15,000 in the small blind. Bousfield folded, but Morton-Monaghan moved all in and Watson snap-called.

Lewis Morton-Monaghan: AK
Wendy Watson: JJ

The two players had nearly identical stacks and were flipping for their respective tournament lives as the board ran out 57393. Morton-Monaghan couldn't catch up and Watson took the pot with her jacks.

Morton-Monaghan counted his stack of 40,000 and Watson barely had him covered as he headed off to the rail.

Watts Turns Out the Lights on Spittles

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Steven Watts raised to 2,500 under the gun and Garry Wilson called in early position. Ryan Spittles then shoved all in for 18,000 in the hijack, Watts reshoved, and Wilson folded.

Ryan Spittles: AQ
Steven Watts: 88

Spittles picked up a straight draw on the K510 flop to go with his overcards, but neither arrived on the 4 turn or 6 river and Watts took the pot to send Spittles to the rail.
