Chuc Khuu in the cutoff, button Cosmin Penescu, and Charles Chattha under the gun all got their chips in the middle preflop.
Chuc Khuu: J♦10♦
Cosmin Penescu: A♥K♣
Charles Chattha: A♣K♥
"Give it to me one time," Khuu pleaded, and he got his wish on the 7♣J♣4♦ flop. "Six of diamonds," he asked for.
"Why not a jack," a tablemate asked.
"That's more fun," Khuu replied as the 9♦ fell on the turn, also giving him a flush draw. The river, though, was a catastrophic A♠ as Chattha and Penescu both paired their ace.
Khuu had around 275,000 remaining and was sent to the rail, punching the wall on his way out, while Chattha and Penescu split his chips.
At the same time at another table, Beihao Wang doubled up against Lin Chen for around 200,000 with A♦J♠ against 9♣9♠ when Wang spiked the river on 4♠Q♣6♥K♠A♣.
Cosmin Penescu was all in for around 450,000 from the button and up against Min Ji in the cutoff.
Cosmin Penescu: J♥J♦
Min Ji: K♥K♠
Penescu was crushed by Ji's kings and at risk of elimination as the flop came 10♦4♥K♠, giving Ji top set. The Q♥ fell on the turn and Penescu was already standing up from his seat with his jacket on preparing to make his exit.
The river, though, brought the 9♣ and Penescu made a straight to double up. "Yes," he yelled out, loudly clapping his hands together.
"He put the jacket on again," Teodor Evstratiev said.
William McMurray raised to 60,000 under the gun and Carl Shaw called in the hijack. Dooley tossed in his last 10,000 after paying the big blind.
The flop came J♥2♦7♥ and Shaw bet 40,000. McMurray called, then folded to another bet on the 3♠ turn.
Shaw then turned over A♠10♠ and Dooley showed A♥. "I don't want that. Just give me a deuce," Dooley asked, but his other card was the 5♦ and the 3♣ sealed his elimination.
Charles Chattha raised to 50,000 in early position, then called when big blind Paul Ephremsen shoved for 270,000.
Paul Ephremsen: 9♥9♣
Charles Chattha: J♦J♣
Chattha was ahead with his jacks heading to the K♠10♥4♠ flop. The K♣ turn left Ephremsen two outs to avoid elimination, and he found one on the 9♠ river as he raised his fist in the air and stopped to snap a photo of the board before collecting his double up.
Hong Pham raised to 60,000 on the button before Beihao Wang moved all in for 350,000 in the small blind. Pham tanked for a moment before calling.
Beihao Wang: 10♦9♦
Hong Pham: Q♥J♥
The 2♥8♠4♣ flop didn't help either player, but Wang made a pair on the 9♥ turn. Pham also picked up a flush draw, but she didn't need it as the J♣ arrived on the river to give her a pair of jacks and send Wang to the rail.
Jose Aguilera raised to 55,000 on the button before Charles Chattha moved all in for 575,000 in the small blind. Aguilera confirmed the amount before calling.
Charles Chattha: A♠K♣
Jose Aguilera: A♦9♥
Aguilera was dominated heading to the flop, which came 5♠10♦3♣. The 3♦ turn brought some chop outs, but the 2♥ fell on the river.
Chattha's rail erupted in celebration, but he remained silent and accepted the pot.
