Thomson Calls Johnson With Ace-High

Thomson called and the flop came 4♦K♦4♠. Johnson continued for 37,000 and Thomson called once more.

Both players checked the 6♠ turn, then Johnson fired out 120,000 on the 6♥ river. Thomson used up a time bank before putting in the chips to call, turning over A♠Q♠ for two pair, ace-kicker.

Johnson, though, had Q♣6♦ for a full house as he took the big pot.

Yiannis Liperis raised to 11,000 in early position and was called by Brandon Harris in the cutoff, as well as small blind Mazin Karkotli.

The flop came A♠Q♥Q♣ and Liperis continued for 15,000. Both opponents called to see the 6♦ turn.

Liperis then bet another 28,000 and only Karkotli called this time as Harris got out of the way. The river came the 10♠ and Liperis bet 76,000 this time.

Karkotli quickly called and Liperis showed K♣Q♠ for trip queens. Karkotli, though, had Q♦10♦ for a rivered full house as he put a dent in Liperis' stack.

Donovan Checks Back the Nut Straight
