Timothy Chung opened to 1,000 in early position and was called by George Pop. Ajay Kejriwal three-bet to 4,500 in the cutoff and Chung responded with a four-bet to 10,000. Pop got out of the way and Kejriwal called to see a flop of 9♠7♦4♥.
Chung continued with a bet of 4,000 and Kejriwal shoved all in. Chung instantly called off his stack of 24,200 and the cards were on their backs.

Chung was out front with the better of the two pocket pairs. The 7♠ and 10♠ runout changed nothing and Chung earned a big double-up at the hands of Kejriwal.

Joining the five 888poker ambassadors in the field is the Royal Squad winner Adam Gilbert along with his two friends David Swain and Thomas Hayton. Unfortunately for Swain, his Main Event came to an end early on as he was seen leaving the tournament area.
Rory Jennings is also supporting the 888poker brand this week and found himself seated at Table 18 with three of the ambassadors.

Elliot Hackney and Barron Hui were heads-up in a pot with around 10,000 in the middle and a completed board of K♣8♦6♥8♥9♥. Hackney led out with a bet from the cutoff and Hui jammed all in for 25,400 on the button. Hackney wasted little time before flicking in a chip to call only to see the bad news.
Hui turned over K♥K♦ for a full house while Hackney was left with A♥3♥ for an ace-high flush. Hui earned himself a double-up while Hackney fell below starting stack for the first time today.

After a limp from under the gun, "PO" raised to 1,200 in middle position. Giorgos Onisiforou three-bet to 3,600 on the button and only "PO" called. The flop came A♦Q♥4♦ and "PO" check-called a bet of 2,200 from Onisiforou.
The Q♦ hit the turn which slowed the action as both players checked to the 9♣ on the river. "PO" led out with a bet of 8,400 on the river and Onisiforou was forced to let his hand go.

Vivian Saliba just registered for the Main Event and was seated at a new table with fellow 888poker ambassadors Ian Simpson and Lucia Navarro. Saliba wasted no time getting involved in the action after making a three-bet in middle position against Ajay Kejriwal.
The two players went heads-up to a queen-high flop and Kejriwal just check-called a bet from Saliba. The A♥ and A♦ runout slowed down Saliba as both players checked the river. Kejriwal showed Q♠Q♦ for a full house and Saliba flashed her Q♥ before the cards went into the muck.
On the next hand, Saliba opened to 700 from under the gun and Kejriwal called from the big blind. The flop came 10♠10♥9♠ and Kejriwal check-called a bet of 1,000 from Saliba. The turn was the 9♥ and Saliba won the pot with a bet of 1,500, flashing her K♥K♦ in the process.
