Among the Day 1c entrants is 888poker Stream Team member Nick Eastwood. PokerNews caught up with the Twitch streamer to find out how his Main Event experience has differed from 2023.

"I came to Bucharest last year," Eastwood said during the first break of the day. "It went terribly first hand that I sat down, I came with all the good intentions, sat down, had aces against kings against ace-king in the first level."

"First orbit of the opening event and I got one-outed on the turn, and then from there it never really improved."

Eastwood is still going strong this year as play resumes. "Today I'm playing the main, so far, I think I played one hand. I opened aces and everybody folded. So I'm having just a great time."

The Mystery Bounty Festival runs at 888poker from March 17 until March 26. The bustling schedule contains 26 numbered events and dozens of side events, each played to the exciting mystery bounty format.

Gabriel Cioaca limped in early position before Rhonda Shepek raised to 900 on his left. Teodor Madalin made the call in the cutoff, as did Emil Mihai in the big blind.

Mihai and Cioaca checked the 6♠K♦8♥ flop and Shepek continued with a bet of 2,200. Madalin folded, Mihai called and Cioaca got out of the way.

The 6♣ turn saw another check from Mihai, who folded after Shepek fired another bet of 3,500 to take down a nice pot.

Ion Parnica led out for 17,000 on the 8♠4♣3♥ flop, seeing three players fold around to Eugen Popa on the button. Popa moved all in for around 4,500 more, with Parnica making the call.

Popa's pair of fours was in front, holding that advantage through the Q♣ turn and 5♠ river to double through Parnica.

Action started four ways after a preflop three-bet, but was down to two players following the 10♣4♦6♠ flop. A bet of 3,000 from Daniel Scridon in middle position found a call from Ginel Serban to his immediate left, with both players sitting on early big stacks.

Scridon led out for 7,000 on the J♠ turn and Serban made another call. The 7♠ river saw Scridon check, making the call once Serban fired 15,000.

Serban showed A♣9♦ for a bluff, while Scridon turned over K♦10♦ for a pair of tens to claim the pot.
