Jorge Ufano Cracks Queens in Multi-Way Pot
Level 7
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jason Wheatley raised to 2,600 in early position before an opponent in the hijack three-bet to 7,200. Jorge Ufano called on the button, as did Wheatley.
The flop came 5♣7♠9♣ and Wheatley led out for 7,500. Both opponents called and the 10♥ fell on the turn.
Wheatley checked and the hijack moved all in for 43,200. Ufano snap-called for around 38,000 and Wheatley folded.
Ufano had 10♣10♠ for a set, having outdrawn his opponent's Q♣Q♠ on the turn. The river was the 4♥ and the hijack got up from his seat to leave before a count of the stacks revealed he had Ufano covered by just 5,000.
