Ufano Not Scared Away by Uguccioni's Flop Raise
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Carl Dit Scrudil bet 7,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 7♠10♦J♣ and Michael Uguccioni raised to 20,000 in the small blind. Jorge Ufano called, while Dit Scrudil got out of the way.
The turn was the 5♣ and Uguccioni checked over to Fano, who bet 16,500. Uguccioni called and the A♣ fell on the river.
Ufano then bet 30,000 and Uguccinoi tanked for so long that the clock had to be called. Uguccioni then turned over A♦J♦ and tossed it into the muck as Ufano took the pot without showdown.
"I had the same hand," Dit Scrudil said.
