Roberts Spikes the River to Bust Hutchins in Massive Pot
Level 11
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Oliver Hutchins raised to 3,600 on the button and Jonathan Roberts called in the big blind.
The flop came A♠K♠Q♣ and Hutchins bet 2,000. Roberts called to the 7♣ turn, where Hutchins bet another 16,000.
Roberts then moved all in and Hutchins snap-called for 100,000, turning over A♣K♦ for two pair. Roberts showed 10♠4♠ for a flush draw and completed his flush on the 6♠ river to earn the massive knockout and increase his chip lead.
"That was ugly," Julian Mosquera said.
