Barnes Spikes the River to Leave Miao on Fumes
Level 29
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Zhicheng Miao limped the button and Stephen Barnes checked back.
The flop came 7♦3♥3♦ and Barnes checked to Miao who bet 160,000. Barnes called to the 10♦ turn, where Miao bet another 320,000.
Barnes again called and the Q♠ fell on the river. Miao bet 720,000 and Barnes snap-called. Miao showed A♣10♥ for two pair, but Barnes had Q♦J♥ for a better two pair on the river to win the pot and knock Miao down to less than seven big blinds.
