Sahnan and Day checked to R.P. on the J♠2♣10♥ flop. He placed a hefty bet of 33,000, sending Jaeger into the tank. Eventually, he let his hand go, prompting Sahnan to move all in for 51,500.

Day also got out of the way for R.P. to call with the covering stack.

In a three-bet pot to the 5♠8♦6♥ flop, E.C. bet 16,000 from the big blind. His opponent was Lin Chen, who called on the button. The J♥ turn slowed down E.C., who checked.

Chen then bet 30,000, which E.C. called after some thought. Chen sized up to 40,000 on the 4♠ river, but this time E.C. check-raised all in for 55,000.

Chen needed some time to think things through before he decided to call. E.C. tabled 9♠9♦ for a pair of nines, besting the 10♥4♥ of Chen and providing E.C. with a monstrous double-up.

After Chen continued for a minimum bet of 4,000, Horton check-raised all in for 20,000. Chen snapped him off, displeasing Horton as the cards were tabled.
