With dark clouds hovering above the Coventry Building Society Arena, and a steady downpour forecasted, it is a perfect day to head inside the Grosvenor Casino and play some cards, and with Day 1b and Day 1c of the 888poker UK Poker League Coventry £560 Main Event on the schedule, there will be plenty of poker action taking place.
Day 1b of the £100,000 guaranteed Main Event will start at 1 p.m. local time and features 40-minute levels, while the evening flight of Day 1c kicks off at 6 p.m. and has a slightly faster structure with levels of 30 minutes. Those who make it through one of the starting flights will join the six players who have already progressed to Day 2 via Day 1a, including overwhelming chipleader Ding Fan and UKPL Reading champion Dale Wilson.
