Vas Nunes Runs Into the Goods
Level 17
: Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Paul Vas Nunes and Hector Berry saw a board of 6♦5♣9♣9♠8♣ when Vas Nunes bet 57,000 from the big blind. Berry then moved all in from early position, and Vas Nunes called for his last 90,000.
Berry turned over 9♥9♦ for quads, and Vas Nunes mucked 6♣3♣ as he headed off to the rail.
