No "Miracles" For Akhtar

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

"We need some miracles," Umberan Akhtar said as he moved all in for his last 5,000 on the button on a flop of 6♣4♥2♠ and Jose Pozo put him at risk in the hijack.

Umberan Akhtar: J♥6♠ All in
Jose Pozo: 10♣10♠

Akhtar had a pair but needed to improve against Pozo's tens. The board ran out A♠4♦, and Pozo couldn't catch up as he was sent to the rail.

Gjergji Wakes Up With Aces to Double Off Schwaederle

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Maz Bako raised to 600 under the gun and picked up one caller before Cedric Schwaederle three-bet to 3,000 in the cutoff. Agron Gjergji then four-bet to 10,500 in the big blind, and the table folded back to Schwaederle who moved all in. Gjergji snap-called for 25,000.

Agron Gjergji: A♥A♠ All in
Cedric Schwaederle: A♦K♠

"I folded queens," Bako admitted after the cards were revealed. Schwaederle hit a pair on the K♦3♣2♦ flop, while the 5♣ turn gave both players a straight draw. The 3♥ river was no help to Schwaederle, and Gjergji doubled up.

SV Stuns O'Shea on the River

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

SV bet 1,500 from the button on a flop of 3♥3♦6♥ and Jerome O'Shea called under the gun.

The turn was the 7♣ and SV bet 3,000. O'Shea then raised to 8,600, and SV called. The K♥ fell on the river, and O'Shea bet another 12,000. SV then moved all in for 19,300.

"F**king hell. You have pocket kings," O'Shea said as he quickly called. SV did, indeed, turn over K♣K♦ for a rivered full house, and O'Shea flung 7♥7♦ into the muck as he slammed his chips on the table in frustration before handing over the double up.
