The 888 ambassadors will be well represented when Day 2 of the 888LIVE London £1,250 Main Event begins at noon local time.

Ian Simpson leads the team into the event’s penultimate day with 192,500, putting him among the big stacks of the 77 players who will return today. Lucia Navarro (123,000) and Ricardo Mateus (122,000) are also still in the hunt and chasing a spot at the final table by the end of the night.

The field is looking up at chip leader Daniel Samson, who enters Day 2 with 459,000. Francisco Salvador (418,500), WSOP bracelet winners Hector Berry (384,000) and Julien Sitbon (345,000), as well as Haoran Dai (366,000), round out the top five.

A total of 364 players came to the Grosvenor Victoria Casino over three starting flights, with the prize pool currently sitting at more than £400,000. Just 77 made it through, but that number should grow as late registration remains open until the start of the day. The official list of payouts should be confirmed shortly after cards are in the air.

Action picks up on Level 15 with blinds of 1,500/3,000 and a 3,000 big-blind ante. Levels remain 40 minutes throughout the day. The plan is to play down to the final table tonight. The feature table will be streamed on the 888lLIVE official YouTube channel.
