888LIVE London Kicks Off With the £2,000 High Roller at 3 p.m.
888LIVE once again returns to the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in the heart of the British capital when the 888LIVE London £2,000 High Roller begins at 3 p.m. local time.
Day 1 will see plenty of 888 ambassadors and other British high-stakes regulars battle for a piece of the £100,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players begin with a 100,000 starting stack, and levels will be 40 minutes throughout the tournament. There will be a break after every three levels and a 60-minute dinner break at the end of Level 6.
The schedule calls for 12 levels to be played today. Late registration remains open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow at noon, so there is plenty of opportunity for players to hop in and try to grab the 888LIVE trophy.
Portugal’s Nuno Duarte won this event last year, beating out a field of 115 entries to earn £43,510. Vivian Saliba, Josh Manley, and Jack Hardcastle were also at the final table, while Ian Simpson, Philippe Souki, and Robbie Bull were among those who fell just short of the final nine.
