Jenny Westerlund (428,000), Terry Jordon (394,000), and Killian O’Brien (339,000) round out the top five as 95 players return to the Casino Barcelona poker room today. Also returning are James Hawkins (270,000), Lucia Navarro (241,000), Ian Simpson (216,000), Abel Aspas (178,000), and Alvaro Murciano (161,000).

Further down the leaderboard are Inaki Angulo (151,000), David Algarra (144,000), Martin Lechner (130,000), Josep Valls (113,000), Ricardo Mateus (102,000), Gorka Akerreta (79,000), and Vivian Saliba (75,000).

The first three starting flights built up a total field of 286 entries. That number should increase significantly, as the turbo Day 1d flight is still ongoing while late registration remains open until the start of Day 2. The action picks up on Level 14 with blinds of 2,000/3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. Levels remain 40 minutes long. The official prize pool should be announced shortly after the start of play. The plan today is to play down to the final table or 12 levels, whichever comes first.

The race for the money and final table begins in earnest today, so stay tuned as PokerNews brings you all the action.
