A few hands later, Simpson again opened to 40,000 in middle position holding J♣8♣ and William Henderson defended J♦7♦.
The flop came 8♠5♠4♦ and Simpson bet 35,000. Henderson then raised to 90,000, and Simpson called with top pair.
The 9♦ turn gave Henderson straight and flush draws, and he bet another 150,000. Simpson again called, and the 10♠ river completed Henderson's straight. He then moved all in for 670,000, and Simpson snap-folded.
