Nine players will return to the Grosvenor Casino Merchant City today at 1 p.m. local time to chase the trophy at the final table of the 888poker Live Glasgow £888 Main Event.
Dean Hutchison already has one title this festival, taking down the High Roller a few days ago. He’s back with a shot at adding to his collection and enters the final table with 740,000. Gaoyang Yang also took home the Mini Main Event, but he’ll have his work cut out for him as the short stack with 455,000.

They and the rest of the field are looking up at Zexuan Huang, who takes the chip lead with 1,960,000 into the event’s final day. Martin Lechner of Austria is his closest challenger with 1,755,000, while Danny Hawkes (1,480,000) completes the podium. The rest of the final table lineup is rounded out by John Clements (1,335,000), Richard Kellett (1,265,000), Bryan Taylor (895,000), and Ernst Soederkvist (565,000). Incredibly, Hutchison, Kellett, and Taylor joined Yang at the Mini Main Event final table, the four of them defying the odds of getting back there again together in big fields.
The final nine have navigated their way through a field of 348 entries to make it this far. They’ve already locked up £4,580 out of the £264,480 prize pool, while the eventual champion will take home £61,320 and the 888poker Live trophy at the end of the night.

The action at the final table picks up with 20 minutes remaining in Level 26 with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and a 40,000 big blind ante. Levels will then be extended to 60 minutes. All the action will be streamed on a 30-minute delay on 888poker’s official YouTube channel.
