Watson Going Shopping; McGinlay Runs Into Jacks
Wendy Watson moved all in for 17,000 from the button and Calum Williams put her at risk in early position.
Wendy Watson: K♣K♥
Calum Williams: A♠K♠
"No ace," Watson pleaded as the flop came Q♥3♦6♠. The turn was the J♠, while the 8♠ completed the board on the river. Watson sat back in her seat to collect her double up, but Williams then pointed out he had made a flush on the river.
"I lost last night with kings to a flush. I hate it. I'm not playing anymore. I'm going to shop," she said on her way to the rail.
At another table, Bernard McGinlay was all in for 5,700 from the small blind and up against Christopher Hendry in the hijack.
Bernard McGinlay: A♥10♥
Christopher Hendry: J♥J♦
McGinlay was looking for an ace against Hendry's jacks, but no help arrived on the 7♦7♥6♣9♣6♥ board and he was sent to the rail.
