Kane Sets Up Czech to Double
Level 16
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Roddy MacNeil raised to 8,000 in middle position and was called by Mariusz Czech in the hijack, James Mclean on the button, Michael Kane in the small blind, and Carlos Pinar in the big blind.
"Family pot," a tablemate said as they went five-handed to the 4♠3♠7♣ flop. Action checked around to Czech who bet 15,000. Mclean folded, but Kane raised to 50,000. Pinar and MacNeil quickly got out of the way.
"Let's dance," Czech said, sliding forward his stack, and Kane called off his last 5,600.
Michael Kane: 4♥4♣
Mariusz Czech: 3♣3♥
Kane was ahead in a set-over-set cooler, and the board ran out 10♥A♣ to earn him a double up.
