Ocampo Gets There on the River
Level 5
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
A player in middle position bet 2,000 on a flop of 6♣9♥9♣ before Juan Diego Ocampo raised to 6,500 in the cutoff. His opponent called, and the A♣ fell on the turn.
Ocampo then bet 9,200, and his opponent quickly tossed two fives into the muck.
The next hand, Ocampo bet 1,200 from the hijack on a flop of 10♥5♦J♠ and was called by the big blind and another opponent under the gun.
All three players checked the 3♠ turn. Ocampo then bet 8,000 on the 4♠ river, and only the big blind called.
Ocampo showed 7♥6♥ for a rivered straight, and his opponent mucked.
