Morshedian Has the Goods Against Martinez
Level 8
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
A massive pot was brewing between two of the largest stacks in the room as Robert Martinez and Shahrokh Morshedian went to the turn on a board of 10♥10♠5♥10♦. Martinez then bet 6,500 from middle position, Morshedian raised to 20,000 on the button, and Martinez called.
The river was the 4♥ and Martinez led out for 20,000. Morshedian then raised to 65,000, sending Martinez deep into the tank. He took several minutes before calling, and Morshedian turned over A♠10♣ for quads. Martinez mucked Q♥Q♠.
