Good Start For Abdella, Bad Start For Barone
Level 8
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Hota Barrosa raised to 1,600 in early position and Vivian Saliba called in the cutoff, as did Ahmed Abdella in the small blind. Aaron Barone then three-bet to 8,000 in the big blind, and Barrosa and Abdella called.
Barone bet 10,000 on the 8♦8♣3♣ flop and only Abdella called. The turn was the Q♥ and Barone bet another 15,000. Abdella again stuck around to see the A♦ river.
Both players slowed down and checked, and Abdella showed 8♠3♥ for a flopped full house.
"Good flop," tablemate Awita said.
"Not for me," Barone added.
"One of us was going to have a good start, one of us was going to have a bad start," Barone added as both he and Abdella had just joined this table.
