Wu Gets There on the River
Level 25
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Daniel Wu raised to 160,000 in the hijack and Martin Pardo called in the big blind.
The 10♥9♦7♥ flop was checked before Pardo led out for 300,000 on the 4♠ turn. Wu called, and they saw the K♥ fall on the river.
Pardo checked over to Wu, who quickly checked back. Pardo showed 10♠3♠ for a pair of tens, but Wu had hit top pair on the river with A♦K♦ to win the pot.
