Gordo Smacks the Flop, Gets Better on the River to Double Off Pardo
Level 25
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Martin Pardo raised to 240,000 in the small blind and Raul Gordo called in the big blind.
Pardo checked to Gordo on the 10♣9♣8♠ flop, and Gordo bet 210,000. Pardo called, and they both checked the 8♦ turn.
Pardo then moved all in on the 5♣ river, and Gordo snap-called for 930,000. Pardo could only show J♣2♦ for a bluff, while Gordo had 7♣6♣ for a flopped straight that improved to a flush on the river to earn a double up.
