On the third day of the 888poker XL Inferno Series, three new tournaments were scheduled. Most of the attention went out to the $30,000 8-Max, where over 300 participants competed for the first prize of over $7,000. The XL Inferno #7 - $30,000 8-Max kicked off at 20:00 GMT. After late registration closed, there were 404 registered players. That resulted in a pretty big prize pool of $40,400 with $7,878 reserved for the winner. More than eight hours were played before a champion was crowned.

Eight players made the final table, securing themselves of $1,010. "quiestce" (eighth, $1,010), "MarKell85" (seventh, $1,212), "dryyyyyyy" (sixth, $1,616), "kory1977" (fifth, $2,222) were eliminated in quick succession. After that, "bluffwarrior" (fourth, $3,232) and "Pablos701" (third, $4,444) missed out on the final heads-up.

"LucySagara70" battled against "888pruha" and in the end, the aforementioned won against his or her opponent to be crowned the winner. The winner received the first prize of $7,878, while the runner-up had to settle for $5,858.

There was also a Mini Edition of the 8-Max on the schedule for the players who couldn't afford the biggest buy-in ($109) of the day. To compete in this tournament, players had to pay the buy-in of $8.80 and there were 1,672 players competing for a prize pool of $13,376. Every finalist in this tournament would secure him- or herself of $167 but all eyes were on the top prize of $2,408.

That top prize went to no one, as there was a deal between the final three players. The Brazilian winner "JMBrotto" was the biggest winner with a prize of $2,048 while runner-up "Hotzonicu" received $1,740 and third-place finisher "Davedepratt" won $1,694.

888poker XL Inferno #9 - $15,000 Late 8-Max

The last winner of the day was crowned in the XL Inferno #9 - $15,000 Late 8-Max. This event was played by 375 players to create a prize pool of $18,750, easily reaching the guaranteed prize pool. "89rhino89" from Russia won the event for $3,656 after defeating another Russian player "Nejtrin0" in the final heads-up.
