Break

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

There are 18 players remaining, and there will be a short break at this point. The final two tables are being set up now. We will play down until there are nine players left today!

Two Tables Remain After Bad Beat For Nguyen

Minh Nguyen raised to 25,000 from the small blind, and Ismail Ismail called from the big. The flop came down {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and Nguyen checked.

Ismail opted to bet 32,000 after which Nguyen raised all in. Ismail tanked for a bit, and called.

Ismail Ismail{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Minh Nguyen{A-Clubs}{9-Spades}

Nguyen made a move, but Ismail called his bluff with a weaker hand. The river brought the {4-Clubs}, and on the river it was all over for Nguyen when the {7-Hearts} popped up. Just two tables remain, and there will be a redraw now.

Quad Kings For Gao, Tran Eliminated

We just witnessed an epic clash between three players over on Table 29. Tam Truong was all in pre flop for 180,000 chips and Eddie Tran decided to re-shove from the button covering Truong, and both players in the blinds. Jie Gao was in the big blind, and he went into shock after looking at his cards. He walked up from the table, did a little lap and sat down again. And we almost forget to mention that he ended up making the call.

Jie Gao{K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Eddie Tran{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Tam Truong{A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, and with quads Gao took down this big pot. Tran won a big side pot and actually profited a little. Tran was knocked down to just 44,000 chips and busted a few hands later. He ran {A-}{J-} into the {Q-}{7-} of Peter Matusik who rivered a pair of queens.

Ashley Warner{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and Jordanou was knocked out.

No Help For Kaselias

Nali Kaselias just moved all in from the cutoff for 21,000, and Michael Guzzardi three-bet to 55,000 from the button. His raise did not get far as Karan Punjabi four-bet all in. Guzzardi gave it some thought, but eventually he folded.

Nali Kaselias{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Karan Punjabi{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{4-Spades}, and Kaselias was knocked out as his call for an eight went unanswered.
