Welcome back to Melbourne for Day 1c of the 2013 PokerStars.net ANZPT Main Event Repechage, from the Poker Room here at Crown Casino.
The past two days have seen a combined total of 478 entrants take to the field, with 61 making it through to Day 2 starting tomorrow. Anthony Hachem was able to come out on top of Day 1a with an impressive 386,000 in chips, but it has been Daniel Neilson who has stolen the spotlight so far, after amassing a monstrous 613,000 chips after his efforts over Day 1b.
Today will see many return for a third and final attempt at making it further in the tournament. Players like Liam O’Rourke, Andrew Hinrichsen, Tom Grigg, Kristian Lunardi and Dave Allen will all be hoping to put the last two days behind them, as they go about accumulating a stack from the very start of play.
Day 1c will easily be the largest day, with tournament staff hopeful that they can reach the 400-runner mark, seeing the prize pool reach almost $900,000.
