Start of Day 3 chip leader - Kenn Langcake

Yesterday's action saw 241 players dwindle down to just 63 with Kenn Langcake taking out Minh Hau Nguyen on the bubble with pocket aces against pocket kings to guarantee himself as well as the other 62 runners at least $3,200 for their efforts.

Langcake will lead the way today with 440,500 in chips. He is joined at the top of the leader board by three others with over 400,000 in chips — [Removed:415] (422,000), Sam Higgs (416,500), and Hyeong Choi (401,500). The cards are in the air for Day 3 of the ANZPT Melbourne main event.

George Balandinos Doubles Through Daniel Bird

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

George Balandinos wasted no time moving all in for his remaining 57,000 from under the gun.

The action folded around to Yujen Lin on the button who asked for a count.

"It's exactly 57,000," said Balandinos. "And do I want a caller? Absolutely!" he added.

Lin thought for a minute before releasing his hand. Daniel Bird was already standing from his chair as the decision folded to him on the big blind. He called before both players tabled their cards.

Balandinos: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Bird: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to see Balandinos take down the pot with an ace kicker after Bird's two pair was counterfeited.
