It looked like the first elimination was about to happen, but then a river card changed everything.

The hand in question began when Michael Guzzardi opened to 20,000 from under the gun. Michael Doyle made the call before Gregory Wheeler three-bet to 40,000. Both Guzzardi and Doyle called to see the dealer flip over a flop. Three checks and a hi the turn. Tjhis time when Guzzardi checked, Doyle moved all in for 126,000. Wheeler folded, while Guzzardi called to put Doyle at risk.

"Get them baby!" Doyle's girlfriend screamed from the rail at the sight of the three.

Huang Gets a Call

Bryan Huang is back up over 700,000 in chips after winning a handy pot off Robert McLean.

It started with McLean opening to 27,000 from under the gun. Huang three-bet to 60,000 from the cut off and once McLean called, the two players checked it to the river of a board.

On the river, it was checked to Huang, who bet 50,000. McLean called and then mucked when Huang showed .

Bechar Shoves

The action has still been quite slow at the final table of the ANZPT Perth Main Event.

The only real bit of excitement recently saw Nevin Bechar five-bet shove for around 300,000 after Huang had four-bet 125,000 over a three-bet of 67,000 from Bechar. Huang got out of the way and the chips went to Bechar.

Kane Leading

Michael Doyle has shoved on Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang and with that, is now the chip leader.

It started with Michael Doyle limping from early position. Kane then three-bet to 37,000 and Huang four-bet to 90,000. Doyle quickly got out of the way, while Kane moved all in for around 460,00. Huang opted to get out of the way and the chips went to Kane.

Guzzardi Gets Some Off Doyle

Stephen McHugh has continue his aggressive ways and has now moved towards 700,000.

Michael Guzzardi opened to 24,000 from middle position. Bryan Huang three-bet to 60,000 from the button and it was on McHugh in the small blind. After just a few moments, McHugh cold four-bet to 130,000. Guzzardi got out of the way quickly and Huang followed suit to send the chips to McHugh.

Long Hand and Break

Raiden Kan and Michael Kane have just played a hand that lasted over 10 minutes.

It started with Kane opening to 25,000 from middle position. Kan three-bet to 60,000 from the big blind and Kane called.

On the flop, Kan led for 65,000. Kane called and a hit the turn. This time Kan led for 100,000 and Kane called.

The river was a and now Kan moved all in for 188,000 with Kane having 240,000 behind.

Kane went deep into the tank as the tournament clock ticked into the break.After a few minutes, the staff opted to pause the clock so the players would be able to enjoy the full break once this hand was over.

After five minutes, Kan called the clock on Kane.

The TD counted out in ten second intervals until the last ten seconds when the clock was counted out loud from ten to zero.

Kane sat stoically and was forced to fold when the time ran out.

With that, Kan is up to 680,000.
