Jan Suchanek has more than US$650,000 in tournament results on his record and will be looking to add to that here at ANZPT Sydney. Unfortunately, however, Suchanek hasn't started too strongly after losing a big pot recently.
We arrived with a 
board already on the felt and with quite a large pot building. Suchanek checked to his lone opponent and was faced with a bet of 2,000. Back on Suchanek and he would take just a second before check-raising to 8,000. Suchaneke's opponent quickly called and tabled 
for a flush - enough to send Suchanek's cards into the muck.
Suchanek is now down under half the starting stack.
