The comeback is over for Tristan Bain as he has hit the rail.
We caught up with the action with Terence Clee betting 5,000 on the flop of . Bain announced all in and Clee immediately asked for a count. Bain had 14,750 total and Clee made the 9,750 call, which put Bain at risk.
Bain was ahead with the but had to dodge a lot of outs as Clee was holding for an open ender and a flush draw.
The turn sealed Bain’s fate as Clee hit his flush and the insignificant was on the river. Clee has now moved up to over 50,000 in chips.
Tam Truong is back at the venue where he won the Summer Series 5k Challenge last December for just under $100,000 and he could continue his run at The Star if his chip stack continues to grow.
Truong was in a hand and he three bet to 2,600 after the under-the-gun position had raised to 1,200. The action folded to under the gun and he put out a four bet of 6,100. Truong then five-bet to 9,500 and under-the-gun made the call. The flop came and the action checked to Truong who bet 5,000 and took down the pot. Truong has now moved up to over 60,000 in chips.
Rory Young has been sent to the rail at the hands of Minjae Park.

Truong bet out 3,500 and his opponent sighed and cut out the 3,500 and made the call. Truong showed for a busted straight draw and his opponent held for top pair. Despite losing the pot, Truong still has a strong chip stack.
