It's time for the second and final Day 1 flight of the Season 7 ANZPT Sydney Main Event.
There were 188 entrants for yesterday's Day 1 flight and there is no doubt today will be even larger. It's likely the total field will well and truly eclipse 400 and see the prize pool surge between $900,000 and $1 million.

Two familar foes have been spotted in the field - 2015 Aussie Millions champion Manny Stavropoulos and third-place finish Joel Douaglin. Stavropoulos picked up a massive seven-figure score for his result, while Douaglin's $630,000 certainly wasn't too shabby.

Grigg Loses Some

We picked up the action on the turn of a 
board with one player checking to Tom Grigg who bet 1,075. Eventually there was a call and the dealer would complete the board with a 
. This time when it was checked to Grigg, he bet 3,000. Grigg's opponent tank-called and tabled 
which was good to send Grigg's cards straight into the muck.
Despite recently losing some chips here to kick off Day 1a of ANZPT Sydney, Tom Grigg has had a good week.
On Monday Grigg won the Sunday Warm-Up on PokerStars for $87,000. He also won the Hotter $55 on the same day.
