Mike "Timex" McDonald picked a great time to catch pocket aces. Daniel Schreiber opened with an all-in shove to 8,000 from under the gun. Matt Kay called that bet before McDonald moved all in himself for 47,000. Kay, who had McDonald covered, called again and the hands were opened.

Even if Schreiber were to spike a six, McDonald was still in a commanding position to win the much larger side pot against Kay. No need to worry about that, however. The board ran out {2-Clubs}

. Both pots were shipped to McDonald. He now sits on 100,000 chips; Kay was left with just 9,000; and Schreiber was eliminated.
