Demetriou Plays Hardball

In a battle of the blinds, the small blind raised into Harry Demetriou for 200. Undeterred, Demetriou made the call.

The flop was {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, bringing a continuation bet of 300 from Demetriou's opponent. "That's not very nice," remarked Demetriou before shipping in 300 chips of his own. The small blind checked the {4-Hearts} turn to Demetriou, who fired out a bet of 800 chips.

That was enough to win the pot and bring Demetriou's stack back up to 8,900 after an early hit.
