Veenhuyzen Steals One

Max Veenhuyzen
Max Veenhuyzen
Johnny Chan limped from middle position, Max Veenhuyzen called on the button and the big blind checked his option to see a baby flop of {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The big blind led out for 300, Chan folded but Veenhuyzen made the call.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and both players checked. The river landed the {J-Diamonds} and the big blind fired out 1,000 into the middle. Veenhuyzen pondered for a moment before making it 2,500 to go. The big blind grimaced and let his hand go as Veenhuyzen flashed {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the bluff!

Veenhuyzen, who was the first ever Australian to win the PokerStars Sunday Millions, is now up to 14,000 chips.
