You Make the Call
The button tabled , bringing a snort of disgust from the under-the-gun player before he opened . He angrily slammed his cards down to the felt, causing one of them to pop up in the air and land face down in the muck.
The button suggested that his opponent's hand should be declared dead and the pot should be awarded to him without a board. Naturally, the under-the-gun player disagreed. A floor was called over, who listened to the story, retrieved the errant king from the muck and ruled that the under-the-gun player's hand was live.
It didn't matter; the board ran out queen-high to allow the button to win the pot.
