Kevin MacPhee continues climbing through the ranks of this poker tournament. He was the only caller of a preflop raise to 750 from the player on the button. When the flop came down {A-Hearts}

, everything went haywire. MacPhee checked to his opponent, who opened for 2,000. MacPhee raised that bet to 4,000, but his opponent was undeterred and moved all in. MacPhee made the call and the cards were opened:

Middle pair and a flush draw for MacPhee against top two for the button. MacPhee promptly hit his heart draw with the {J-Hearts}

on the turn, and dodged his opponent's full house draw with a harmless {9-Spades}

river.

As the button player got up from the table, MacPhee said "Good game," but the button didn't seem to be in much of a mood to hear it. MacPhee now has about 40,000 chips.
