Break Time

With five minutes left in the level, we've reached the second table re-draw. As a result, Tournament Director Danny McDonagh has put the players on their next ten-minute break. When we come back, we'll play the last five minutes of Level 16 and then go straight into Level 17.

Musical Chairs

The players from the feature table have returned to the main tournament area for the redraw and to fill out some player bio forms, only to now be moved back to the feature table once again.

This game of musical chairs has caused an extended break, but we expect play to recommence shortly.

Play Slows

Now that we are are two full tables of eight players, the play has slowed up a little as the players start to think about a final table berth.

Meanwhile things are moving slowly over at the High Rollers Event. Dennis Huntly was a late registration after busting out of the Short-Handed side event, to round out the total number of high rollers at an even ten.

The players have 15,000 start banks and one hour levels, so there has not been any significant changes in chip stacks as it is still very early days there. It could be a long night for those players!

Benjamin Lim Doubles

Sometimes hands just play themselves. Benjamin Lim opened with a raise to 20,500. Action folded to June Caberoy, who reraised all in. Lim called all in for much less, about 70,000 total. It was Lim's {A-Spades}

against Caberoy's {J-Hearts}

. Caberoy led through four streets, {Q-Diamonds}

, but Lim spiked the {A-Clubs}

on the river to win the hand and double up.

Noh Tae Jun Doubles

The feature table hasn't been lacking any action. Josh Pang Ang opened the pot for 26,000 and was reraised all in to 121,500 by Noh Tae Jun. Action folded back to Ang, who asked for a count and then called after another ten seconds. Ang tabled pocket jacks, but he was behind Jun's pocket kings. He stayed that way all the way to the river, as the board ran out {3-Diamonds}

It's a big double for Jun and a big hit for Ang as they essentially trade places in the chip counts.
