In a battle of the blinds Tony Basile limped from the small blind before Brendan Edmonds raised to 50,000 in the big blind. Basile then moved all in and Edmonds made the call.

giving Basile a pair of sevens which was enough to collect the pot and end Edmonds tournament in 12th place. He was bitterly disappointed but takes home AU$28,000 to ease the pain.
