"You F%^&ing Dog"

Kenny Nielsen checked an {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, and Mikhail Mazunin bet 6,000. Nielsen called to see the {10-Hearts} on the turn and checked again. This time, when Mazunin bet 11,000, Nielsen moved all in for another 15,000 on top. Mazunin quickly called, and the table groaned at his luck when Nielsen showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades} to Mazunin's {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. But Mazunin's luck changed quickly as the {4-Diamonds} spiked on the river. "You f%^&ing dog!" shouted one of the other players. "Don't you ever do that to me." Nielsen could barely catch his breath as he left the table.

2007 Champ Looking Good

Winner of the first-ever APPT Macau Main Event Dinh Le just played a fun little pot preflop against an opponent who attempted to steal his blind from the button. The player on the button raised to 1,900 when action folded around to him. Le was in the big blind and three-bet to 3,900. The butt player then four-bet to 9,700. Le took some time, ordered a water from the lovely server and then five-bet to 24,700. After a minute in the tank, his opponent folded and Le scooped the pot to increase his stack. He's one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Could we see another championship run for Le? Keep your browser pointed right here to find out!

Yoon Takes One from Carron

From the under-the-gun position, Patrick Carron raised to 1,800. Action folded over to Darren Yoon in the small blind and he opted to three-bet the High Roller champion to 4,400. The big blind folded and then Carron made the call.

After a flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Yoon continued with a bet of 6,625. Carron had another look at his holecards and then tossed them away, giving Yoon the pot.

Kirk Kicked

From middle position, Emanuel "Curly" Seal raised the action up. The player in the cutoff seat made the call and then Matthew Kirk shoved all in from the button. The original raise size was unknown, but the shove was worth 6,475 more. Seal pained over his decision, but let his hand go. The cutoff seat made the call with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Kirk was behind with his {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

The board ran through {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Kirk was out the door.

Lerner's Fives No Good

A sizable pot brewed up between Aaron Lerner and Oscar Teran. There was over 10,000 in the middle on the turn and the board read {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Lerner was up first and he fired 8,350. Teran wasted little time in making the call.

The river completed the board with the {K-Spades}. Lerner sat and thought for a little while and then tapped the table with a check. Teran checked right behind him. Lerner shook his head and tabled the {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives, having also missed his turned straight draw. Teran tabled the {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and won the pot, knocking Lerner back to 27,500 chips.

Assadourian Assassinated

Eric Assadourian not liking the showdown
Eric Assadourian not liking the showdown

In early position, Eric Assadourian open-shoved for his short stack of just over 10,000. "All you can eat, ladies and gentlemen," he said. "If anyone calls me, I'll check it down to the river." He made it safely all the way around to the big blind, but Didier Cicurel peeked at his cards in the big blind and made the call with the slightly covering stack. "Shit!" Assadourian said, knowing the news would not be good. And it wasn't.

Showdown
Assadourian: {A-Diamonds} {3-Spades}
Cicurel: {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}

There was some hope of a chop on the turn, but the board of {9-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} was of no use to the Team PokerStars Pro. Assadourian wished his table luck, stood up, and headed out into the tournament room to check on his mates.

Burr Shaken Off

Alan Burr started the day extremely short. He made his move under the gun, shipping in his last 9,000. The next player to act flat called, and Burr knew that wasn't a good sign. When action got to Aaron Benton, he called as well. "Good luck," Benton told Burr. "We're not all in, and generally the saying goes, 'all in must win.'"

The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and both players checked. Same thing after the {j-Hearts} turn. After the {9-Clubs} on the river, the early position player bet 14,000, and Benton folded. Burr showed that his {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} had missed everything, while his opponent's pocket nines had rivered a set. Guess the saying didn't apply this time.

Wu_Wizard

Ok, so Kevin MacPhee isn't here, but Raymond Wu is pulling out some good online tricks. Tony Hachem opened to 2,200 from the cutoff, and Raffi Cedric called on the button. The small blind folded, and in the big blind, Wu asked for counts of both player's stacks before squeezing to 7,200. Hachem quickly folded, and after studying Wu for a minute, Cedric did the same.

Marcel Luske opened from early position to 2,600 and the big blind made the call. After a flop of {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}, the big blind checked and Luske fired a bet worth his entire stack. The player quickly folded and Luske said, "Only aces, my friend. Only aces," as he showed two aces.

Pedley Runs Queens Into Kings

From under the gun, Michael Pedley moved all in for about 21,000. Action folded to Lawrence Robjent in the cutoff seat and he moved all in as well for about 12,000 chips. Everyone else folded and the cards were turned up.

Pedley held pocket queens, but was outdone bu Robjent's pocket kings. AFter a board of {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, Pedley was left with just about 9,000 chips while Robjent doubled his stack.
