Benson Chips Up

Tom Grigg raised to 35,000 from the hijack, and Gary Benson called from the cutoff. The flop came down {9-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {7-Hearts} , and Grigg checked to Benson who bet 42,000. Grigg called.

On the turn the {4-Spades} popped up, and this time Grigg check-called 71,000. The river was the {5-Clubs} , and Grigg checked again. Benson said, "I'm 99% sure I've got the best hand, but I don't want to risk my tournament life" as he checked.

Benson showed {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} , and took down the pot.
