We just noticed that Devan Tang was making his way out of the tournament area. Tang will have to be content with his second place finish in the 2011 APPT Macau High Roller event where he won in excess of $100,000.
Yesterday saw the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event champion Oliver Speidel storm the chip leader board early in the day. Today we the runner-up in that same event, Kenneth Wong do exactly the same thing.
A recent hand saw a player open the action from the hijack seat and Wong then three-bet from the small blind. the player made the call and the flop was dealt. Wong led for 1,500 on the flop and his opponent called as the hit the turn. Wong again led, this time for 5,500. His opponent called and the hit the river.
Wong didn't slow down here, firing out 7,000. This is when his opponent min-raised to 14,000. Wong gave a shrug as he flicked in the call and his opponent said, "That's all i got, ace-high," as he flashed an . Wong turned over his and took down the nice pot.
Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen raised to 650 from the hijack seat and found one caller in the player on the button. Everyone else folded and the flop came down . Guillen checked and his opponent bet 850. Guillen made the call.
The turn card was the and Guillen checked again. His opponent slowed down with a check behind and the dealer placed the out on the river. Guillen tossed out 1,250 and his opponent folded.
Keita Koyama limped in from early position, Kenneth Wong limped from middle position, the button limped, the small blind completed and the big blind checked all before the dealer ran out the flop. Action checked over to Wong and he bet 1,500. Everyone folded and Wong took the pot to chip up to nearly 60,000.

The fatal blow was just dealt to Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang’s tournament life and we were there to catch all the action. It started with an open to 625 from the under the gun player. Fellow Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen made the call before Huang flicked in a call from the button.
Flop:
The play was checked to Huang on the button and he bet 1,525. The under the gun player then check-raised to 5,500 and Guillen folded. Huang tanked for quite some time before shoving for an extra 8,725. His opponent called and they turned their hands over.
Huang held for top-pair, top-kicker while his opponent held for a flush draw and the over cards. The on the turn changed nothing, but the on the river meant that Huang would be heading home. The PokerStars flag is now being waived by a lone soldier in Guillen.
