Last year's Asia Player of the Year Hung-Sheng Lin has been spotted registering for one of the side events here at the APPT Cebu Main Event, safe to assume he is busto in the main event.

We haven’t heard much from overnight chip leader Antonio Martins so far today. He’s been on a tough table and it’s only recently become a lot tougher with the addition of Team PokerStars Pros Celina Lin and Raymond Wu.
We caught Martins in a recent pot when he led for 4,200 on a flop of 
. His opponent on the button made the call and the 
hit the turn. Martins checked, and then quickly called a bet of 9,500 as the 
was the river card. Martins checked and his opponent also rapped the table.
Martins went to show but held back when his opponent flipped over 
for a backdoor straight. Martins raised his eyebrows and mucked.

We arrived at the table to see Indian Sameer Rattonsey all in for his tournament life on a flop of 
. We’re not sure how the pot had ballooned so quickly, but Rattonsey was all in for 54,500 following a bet of 16,200 from an early position player, and a third player was deep in the tank.
The player eventually folded, but the early position player called with 
for the overpair as Rattonsey showed 
for a pair and flush draw. Meanwhile the tanker was beside himself as he claimed to have folded pocket aces.
That didn’t matter when the 
appeared on the turn to complete Rattonsey’s flush. He didn’t want to see anymore spades though, and the river was nice and safe for the double up.

We have a new chipleader and he comes in the form of Singaporean / honorary Australian, Jacky Wang.
When we came to the table, an early position player had put in a min-raise and a middle position player had made the call. It was then on Wang in the big blind and he three-bet to 15,400. The early position player folded and it was on the player in late position.
"How much?" asked the player.
"You can not call. It is too much," replied Wang.
"I call," the player said with gusto, almost daring Wang to tell him what he can and cannot do.
When the 
flop was spread across the felt, Wang led out for 25,400.
"How much?" asked the player in his thick Russian accent.
"Too much! Way too much," replied Wang, goading his opponent to call.
The player obliged with a call and the 
was dealt on the turn. At this point Wang bet 57,500.
"How much?" asked the player yet again.
"I told ya, it's too much for you!" quipped Wang.
As soon as the words had exited Wang's lips, the player had shoved all in and Wang had instantly called.
Wang's opponent tabled

completed the board on the river and with that huge hand, Wang is now sitting behind the biggest stack in the room.

Carter Gill and Jacky Wang have been rumbling much of the afternoon, but the two seem quite friendly in their poker battle. At this point Wang is doing far better than gill chip-stack wise, but Gill's stack is certainly healthy enough to scare at this point in the tournament.
Recently we arrived at the table and Wang and Gill were involved in a hand against one other opponent. All three players checked a 
flop and a 
was dealt on the turn.
This time Gill would bet 6,000 and Wang and the other player would get out of the way. At this point Gill flipped over an 
and him and Wang began chatting and making cracks at each other again.

ANZPT Adelaide champion Octavian Voegele is the latest casualty from the APPT Cebu Main Event. We don’t have a lot of details, but Voegele was all in preflop with pocket eights against an opponent’s ace-queen.
The flip went the way of his opponent as the board ran out 
to pair the ace and send Voegele back to his hotel room.
