Michael Tureniec opened with a raise from the hi-jack and Randy Lew called to see a flop fall. Lew checked and Tureniec bet out 800 only to have Lew check-raise to 2,200.
Tureniec called, and then called a bet of 3,750 when the turn landed the before both players checked the on the river.
Lew tabled his for a set, and once Tureniec folded, he was pushed the pot to close in on 60,000 in chips.

Although the registration period has concluded there are still 3 players that will be entering the tournament later tonight and tomorrow on Day 2 who have already had their money received by the PokerStars Live team.
Winfred Yu is one of these players who is flying direct from Paris following the WSOP Europe and WPT Paris events.
Although normally their chip stacks would be put into play, APPT President and Tournament Director Danny McDonagh has calculated how many chips they would lose over the next two levels and announced that they will start tomorrow with 26,775. This calculation was made by taking into account one round of blinds for the remainder of this level, and then four in the next level.
These three additional players are also part of the 110-player Day 1b field which sets the total player number at 203.
