Bendik Busts Tan

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Darian Tan moved all in for approximately 40,000 and cleared the field to Jan Bendik on the button. The man from Slovenia appeared to be agonizing over what to do, but eventually made the call. The blinds then folded and laughed when Bendik tabled the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"Maybe you call," Bendik tried to explain. Tan then showed the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and was looking for some help. The {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was dry, and that meant he'd need an eight to stay alive. The {K-Hearts} turn missed him, and the {Q-Diamonds} river did too.

Tan wished the remaining players luck and then headed for the exit while Bendik was pushed the pot.

Teja Gets Lucky

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Satrya Teja
Satrya Teja

Satrya Teja has just struck a lifeline after doubling through Chane Kampanatsanyakorn.

Teja was all in holding {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} against Kampanatsanyakorn's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}, but after the dealer spread a {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board, Teja doubled through to nearly 200,000 as Kampanatsanyakorn took a hit down to 180,000 in chips.

The Day 1 Chip Leader Sent Home Shy of a Cash

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Keith Ferrera
Keith Ferrera

Action folded around to Peter Ping San Chan in the cutoff and he put in a raise to 4,000. After the button folded, Keith Ferrera, who you might recall as the Day 1 overall chip leader, announced that he was all in for his last 33,000. The big blind folded and Chan thought for a few moments before making the call.

Ferrera: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Chan: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Ferrera got it in good, but his lead was short lived as the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop hit Chan hard. Ferrera was suddenly in need of a seven to extend his tournament life, but it wasn't in the cards as the {2-Diamonds} appeared on the turn followed by the {Q-Clubs} on the river.

Miao Uses Pocket Rockets to Eliminate Xi

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Yang Xi
Yang Xi

A back-and-forth preflop raising war resulted in Yang Xi getting her last 65,000 or so all in against Chenxiang Miao.

Miao: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Xi: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Xi was left shaking her head upon discovering that her big hands was crushed. According to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Miao was an 87.23% favorite while Xi would get lucky just 11.51% of the time.

The {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop provided little help for Xi, meaning she needed to catch either running hearts, kings or sevens to stay alive — something that would happen just 4.84% of the time. The {6-Hearts} turn was actually a good card as it gave her a flush draw and a 20.45% of hitting on the river.

Unfortunately for her, this was not one of those times as the {9-Spades} blanked.
