Action From Table 18

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Sergey Lebedev moved into the seat vacated by Raymond Wu. Lebedev played a hand with Christoph Vogelsang where he bet more than half of Vogelsang's remaining stack. Vogelsang folded.

Vogelsang would gain some chips back a few hands later against Matthew Wakeman. Wakeman raised the button and Vogelsang called from the big blind. Both players checked the flop of {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Vogelsang led out when the {3-Diamonds} hit the turn and Wakeman called. On the river, Vogelsang bet 95,000, which only left him with about 60,000 behind him. Wakeman folded.

On another hand, Connor Drinan raised from middle position to 18,000. Zhou Zhou three-bet to 48,000 and the action was on Wakemen in the big blind. Wakeman made it 111,000 to go and that was enough to win the pot.

Raymond Wu - 23rd

Raymond Wu made a squeeze play but ran into a bigger hand behind him. It dropped him down to just 1,000 chips and was the first player eliminated the very next hand.

Zhou Zhou opened to 18,000 from the hijack and was called by Shunu Zang in the next seat before Wu moved all in for 143,000 from the button. Matthew Wakeman then shoved from the small blind for 142,000 and they were at heads up showdown.

Wu: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Wakeman: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to see Wakeman's hand hold.

The next hand, Zhou opened to 18,000 but folded to a Zang 45,000 c-bet. Zang went to muck his hand but it was soon pointed out to him that Wu was automatically all in.

Zang: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Wu: {q-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} to make Zang a straight after Wu had snatched the lead on the flop. Wu became the first player eliminated on Day 4.

Ward Back in His Favourite Double Up Seat

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

"It's this seat. Honestly, it's this seat!" said a jubilant Thomas Ward after he doubled up with aces.

Ward had a remarkable start to Day 3 when sat in the same seat. He has had the same today, after doubling through Yuguang Li but the start was tempered when Li quickly doubled back through the Kiwi.

The first hand saw them get the chips in on a {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop. Li opened {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} but Ward had {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and survived the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} turn and river.

Shortly after, Li shoved for 74,000 with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Ward called with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. The board ran {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Tu Hot

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Nan Tu has added a quick 50,000 to his stack after only a few hands.

Yuguang Li is seated to Tu's right and the action folded to him. He limped the small blind and Tu raised to 30,000. Li took a moment before shoving all in and Tu folded.

On the next hand, the action folded to Li again, this time on the button. He raised to 16,000 and Tu reraised from the small blind to 46,000. Yat Wai Cheng folded in the big blind and the action was on Li again. This time Li decided to fold.

The dealer dealt the next hand, and this time the action folded to Tu. Tu raised to 18,000 on the button. Cheng and Thomas Ward called from the blinds. All three players checked the {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and Cheng checked. Ward bet 21,000 and Tu called. Cheng folded and left Tu and Ward heads up to the river.

The river was the {j-Hearts} and Ward checked to Tu who bet 63,000. Ward folded and Tu stacked the pot.
